Life on the wild side.. can anyone say BUBBLES!!! It is so funny how kids can find fun in the little things!! I am not sure how much soap they put in the tub, but as you can see.... it worked!!! They look like Santa with a bubble suit! I would love to hear your crazy kids stories!! I know one thing, mine will look back and say they had it pretty good. The main thing is to not take life too seriously, there will be bumps in the road, but it is how you ride those bumps that matter! I hope everyone has a blessed day and remember to try and take time out of the day to see your blessings, help one another and LAUGH!!!!
Thank goodness for a pool in this south Georgia weather! I thought it was going to be a pain to keep clean, but dump some chemicals in once a week and we are no longer bored! Now.. I have to get ready for my kids birthday party next Saturday, I combined both parties, so it would be nice and stressful..lol!! Our first pool party!! My daughter will be 5 and my son 11!!!

Gettin Stressed?

Lets face it, being a mom can be stressful!! The best thing you can do for yourself is take time out for yourself. I sometimes really get down on myself if I don't DO IT ALL!! There really is no way a mom can.. and I don't know about the rest of you, but are you guys tired? LOL!!
I want to start this blog as a means of support for all the moms out there, that need support! I want to write about my kids and things that I do, so that maybe it will help another mom!! I know I may not be the perfect parent, but this can be a place that we can share our ideas and concerns for our children and try to help each other make a difference in our kids lives.
Here is my first tip!! YAY!!
I think if I could share the single most important thing that is vital to my relationship with my kids, is COMMUNICATION! They want explanations about why and how things are happening in this world. There are so many times our children get teased, or they hear inappropriate comments and it is our responsibility to ask our kids questions and open the lines of communication with them.
I talked with my son recently about the importance of always staying true to yourself. He was being teased at school, and I wanted to let him know that the way it makes you feel, is the exact reason why you shouldn't do it to others.
Please feel free to leave comments about communication experiences that you and your children have faced and lets start this awesome blog of support!!!
